Airsoft was first introduced in 1980’s. Since then it its popularity has been increasing like anything. It is loved and aspired by all age brackets. It is loved by children as a new form of action fun and entertainment. Airsoft is used by law enforcement and military agencies in non lethal exercises. But when it comes to children it is a moot question as to if children should be allowed to use airsoft. In fact there is a long debate between parents as some of them are not willing to allow their children to participate in airsoft sports. But before going in to this debate it is essential to know about airsoft. Airsoft is a tactical game in which players outsmart their opponents by shooting plastic pellets. These plastic pellets may be dangerous if it strike eyes or any part of the body. That is why different states have formulated different safety guidelines for airsoft. According to these guidelines children should be properly educated about the airsoft before they are allowed to use in airsoft sports.
